A calmer, channel-approved way to do YouTube.
Parents told us the same story in different words: “YouTube is great… until it isn’t.” One minute it’s science, music, and art; the next it’s ads, clickbait, and a feed that goes sideways fast. We built Visor to give families a simple, durable fix: kids only see videos from the channels you approve.
Visor flips the usual flow. Instead of micromanaging every video, you approve at the channel level. That single choice sets a boundary the app respects—no comments, no Shorts, and no algorithm detours. Kids still explore and feel independent, but inside a space you’ve shaped.
Two design principles guided us:
We didn’t want another complicated dashboard. We wanted a tool parents can set up in minutes and trust every day. If a kid finds a new channel, it routes to your dashboard for review—tap approve, and it’s available instantly.
Visor won’t replace parenting (nothing should), but it makes the default experience better. Safer by design. More signal, less noise. And that gives everyone something precious back: time and peace of mind.
